Who it’s for

Built for the way food businesses actually work.

You buy by the kilo, the bottle, and the tray, and you sell by the plate and the cup. The calculator works in those units, with café-scale examples throughout.

Most food businesses price their menu the same way: look at what the shop down the road charges, shave off ten pesos, and hope. It works until a supplier raises the price of cooking oil, or portions quietly creep up, and a dish that felt profitable has been losing money for months without anyone noticing.

This calculator replaces the guess with arithmetic. Enter what you buy and what you pay for it — a kilo of chicken at 250 pesos, a 750 ml bottle of soy sauce at 120 — then how much of each goes into one serving. It converts the units for you, so pricing by the kilo and cooking by the gram is no longer a source of error. You get the cost of one serving, what percentage of your selling price that represents, your gross profit in pesos, and your margin.

Questions people actually ask

Is the calculator free?

Yes, and there is no signup. It runs entirely in your browser, so nothing you type is sent to a server or stored anywhere.

What currency does it use?

Philippine pesos by default. The currency is a setting rather than something hard-coded, so the same tool works for AUD, USD, SGD, EUR, GBP, CAD, NZD and JPY.

Do I need to know my exact ingredient prices?

Start with your latest delivery receipt or invoice. Approximate prices give you an approximate answer, which is still far more useful than no answer — you can refine the numbers as you go.

Can I use it on my phone in the kitchen?

Yes. On a small screen the ingredient rows become cards and your cost per serving stays pinned to the bottom of the screen, so the answer is visible while you are still typing.

Your menu should make money.

Start with the numbers. Cost your food, understand your margins, and price with confidence.
